Banana Buttermilk Pancakes
Sunday’s are for pancakes. These light and fluffy banana buttermilk pancakes are my favourite, made even better when served with a dollop of labneh, berries and maple syrup.
Banana Buttermilk Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 bananas mashed
- 1 ½ cups buttermilk or kefir
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a fork. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before ladling into a greased hot pan.
