Baked Honey Garlic Tofu
This is my husband’s favourite tofu dish. It’s crispy honey garlic tofu. Every piece of tofu is golden and crispy and coated in a sweet and gently spiced honey garlic sauce. And best of all, it’s baked in the oven so a minimal amount of oil is used.
It’s best enjoyed when it’s just made, as it looses its crispiness (but not its flavour) when it’s stored in the fridge.
Serve with steamed jasmine rice and a side of sautéed greens for an all round satisfying meal.
Full disclosure – I don’t eat tofu. I really don’t like the texture, but I feel like I’ve perfected the way to prepare really good tofu, just the way my hubby loves it. It makes him happy, so it makes me happy.
