Flourless Blondies
Blondies are like brownies without the chocolate. A happy collision between a sugar cookie and a chocolate-less brownie. If done right, they have that gooey goodness of a brownie but they taste much more like a soft cookie square.
These flourless blondies are made with five pantry ingredients and are a perfectly decadent Passover or anytime treat. This one-bowl version couldn’t be easier and they only take 30 minutes of which 5 minutes is the mixing part. They are crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and should be made often.
What You Need
- Finely ground almonds
- Brown sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla sugar
- Chocolate chips
Some Tips on These Blondies
- The trick with these squares is to always let them cool completely before slicing. If you slice them too early, they will get crumbly.
- You know when your blondies bars are done when they start to turn golden brown on the edges.
- Blondies are a great dessert to freeze. Place sliced blondies on a lined baking sheet and freeze for an hour before transferring into a freezer-safe bag.
