Passover Chocolate Chip Cookies

Passover Chocolate Chip Cookies

Still feeling full after last night’s Passover dinner but would never say no to these rich and decadent Passover chocolate chip cookies. They are so good, you won’t miss the chametz!

It’s such a simple recipe, but somehow so magical. The combination of matzo, brown sugar, butter, honey and vanilla creates a cookie that tastes every bit as good as a traditional flour cookie. They are the best passover cookies. And they are nut-free.

Passover Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you are wondering what matzo cake meal is, it’s matzo that has been ground very fine into a powdery texture. Most grocery stores with a kosher food section carry it during Passover. If you can’t find it, just grind up some matzo meal in your food processor until it becomes powdery like flour.

Passover baking has come a long way. This recipe is a keeper.
