Preheat the barbecue to high heat.
Clean the corn and carefully cut it into strips. To cut the corn, stand it up vertically with the wider end against on the cutting board. Cut the cob in half, then cut the halves into quarters.
Place the corn strips on a plate.
To prepare the seasoning place the oil and all the spices in a small bowl and mix. Brush each strip the the seasoned oil.
Place the corn strips on the pre-heated barbecue and cook for a few minutes on each side until slightly charred.
Remove from the heat and place on a platter. Serve with chipotle aioli.
